The NDDS Study Needs You!

Do you want to make a difference not only in the healthy development your own child but the healthy development of all children? As great as the NDDS tool is, the good folks who developed the NDDS are trying to make it even better so that all children who would benefit from extra help with their development are identified as early as possible.

The NDDS has now been revised (NDDS-R) and there is a study being undertaken by Dr. John Cairney and Dr. Jean Clinton from McMaster University to see how reliable the revised version is. The results of the study will help determine whether the NDDS-R is a useful tool for parents, doctors and other professionals to track development in children across the province of Ontario. To complete this study children are needed!  This is where you come in…

If you have a child who is between 1 month and 6 years of age and are interested in participating and/or learning more about the study, you can:

  1. Visit the study website
  2. Contact the study team by phone: 905-525-9140, x 27528
  3. Send the study team an email: mybaby@mcmaster.ca
