Do You Need Help with the Cost of Childcare?

This is the first post in our series about child care in Halton Region.

Every day, I hear the giggles of children and the low rumblings of voices in nearby offices.

Every day, there is a child enrolling in a new licensed child care program so that their parents can work, return to work, or go to school.

Every day, the needs of families change and the cost of child care can be very difficult for some… overwhelming for others.

Every day, I hear voices on the phones talking to parents with warmth and empathy.  I think about how lucky I am to work with such a special place.

Every day, my colleagues and I listen to the stories and personal challenges of parents needing financial help with the cost of child care.  Our experienced staff provide supports and resources for families in financial need.

Halton Child Care Subsidy provides financial support towards the cost of child care and is available to families who live in Halton Region. It takes into account how much money your household makes, as well as how many children need child care.  There is a very easy process to see if you might be eligible – check out the Child Care Subsidy Calculator or give us a call.

There is a listening ear available… let’s work together to see if we can help your families’ needs today.
