Pregnant? Get the real deal on your meal

Doesn’t it seem that when you are pregnant everyone wants to tell you how to eat, what to eat and everything in-between?

The Halton Region Health Department is currently working with some of our community partners (such as the Halton Regional Police Service and the two school boards) on a new online resource related to cannabis/marijuana/pot/weed for parents, and we want your feedback. Let us know how you refer to this drug.

My Unexpected Battle with Postpartum Depression

My pregnancy was amazing.  Really amazing.  Aside from the usual “morning sickness” during my first trimester, I actually couldn’t remember when I had felt better.  I had lots of energy, my mood was exceptional, and I couldn’t wait to deliver my little bundle of joy.  I actually walked into the hospital excited for labour.

I delivered… and then I crashed.  Right there in the hospital.
